I once saw Parker in Wide Sargasso Sea and then became aware accidently of the Inspector Lynley series. Now I am watching the series on dvd starting with the pilot and am now on season 2. I absolutely LOVE this series!!! I can understand why it lasted for six seasons. Hope it continues.

I agree. It is a very addictive series. The chemistry (not sexual tension) between Parker and Small is great and makes for great viewing. I'll wager they had fun making the show.
