I've heard that he never broke out of his character when on SNL. And that he's especially known for staying in character even when the rest of the cast was cracking up about something Will Ferrell had done or saiddoes anyone have any videos of this on youtube or anywhere else? I think him staying in character would be even more funny than what Will Ferrell did to make people laugh.

He is a role model for other SNL actors who can't. Especially Jimmy Fallon.

Search for "More Cowbell" - one of the most famous SNL skits. Parnell is Eric Bloom, and he stays in character the whole way.
