<p dir="auto">Though he's not often the lead character in a sketch, he's a fine ensemble actor who is funny and brings the production up a notch, reliably. Check out his performance in the aforementioned Cowbell sketch, or Colonel Angus (two of the funniest moments of those seasons of SNL).  He's good, and was great on SNL.</p>

<p dir="auto">He succeeded in never onc16d0e breaking character (see, for example, the cowbell sketch, when everyone else is losing it).  Very professional comedian.</p>
