I've ran into Butc1c84h a few times over the years and he's alway's grumpy and in a rush to get you out of his face. Don't come to conventions to make $ if signing Eddie Munster pics & getting the same 20 munsters questions over and over again put's you in a bad mood Butch.

I have to agree with injectionlethal. I met him at Steel City Con, and unfortunately when I went, u didn't have much money, so I couldn't buy an autograph. I was just trying to make conversation with him, and I barely said anything to him, besides te handshake. He had to take a phone call, which i can understand. but then he seemed all chipper with the lady and her daughter behind me. I didn't want to think he was rude, that perhaps it was my luck, but then again, he could be just in it for the money.

I agree with the OP. I sympathize with the fact that he may have to deal with a million of the same question, which is tiring, but I would hope for the money we the fans spend, and the fact the fan base is as loving as it is, he could at least show a slight interest. I saw butch recently, and it wasn't anything particularly bad, but not good. I chatted it up with a lot of the convention guests, most of which I couldn't afford an autograph, and yet they still acted like civil, kind individuals. Butch didn't face me through our extremely brief conversation, and lost interest when I talked for a moment without asking for an autograph. It was clear he just wanted the money.

My son and I just met him today. He was very gracious and attentive. We mostly talked about his other work in Lidsville and the Monkees. He probably liked the fact that we knew him from something other than The Munsters.
