.  His character was written off.  He only did the WH crap to look busy while he tried to find another gig, which he never really did because the H&amp;K thing had already been in the works and he new he had that one.  Face it- he's a terrible actor and will only last in the business as long as the H&amp;K franchise keeps making movies.</p>

<p dir="auto">Well let's see the salary Kal Penn makes at the White House is probably much lower then his salary for films. Kal Penn is an actor it is in his blood I knew he would return to acting.</p>

<p dir="auto">I think this goes to show that he didn't really have a career at the White House, he was just trying to appear busy since he couldn't get any acting gigs. I mean honestly, who leaves an important job for a third Harold &amp; Kumar movie!?!<br />
I could buy it if maybe it was some kind of potential oscar movie.</p>
