We have watch on demand here in the U.S. now as well as streaming. Much of RPJ's work is available on one or the other.

Persuasion, 39 Steps and now Spooks/MI-5 repeats are shown on PBS channels in the US. PBS channels are somewhat obscure and do not get a lot of viewers. Most Americans watch the big networks.

I read in an article that there is interest in producing more Richard Hannay projects and RPJ said that he definitely would love to do them.
The 39 Steps is only one of the whole series that Richard Hannay finds himself in. Similar to a James Bond series.
I hope that they move forward with this project so that we could see more of this man. And seeing that 39 Steps is garnering good reception in the US/ North America; the audience will be able to appreciate him and perhaps moveda0 his career to a broader audience.

No news yet on a new project. I think he'll continue filming Whitechapel for the next few weeks. He just finished a play called The Priory in January.

3 episodes doesn't sound a lot. What else is he doing?

At least they won't wait a whole year before they air it, like they did with the first series.

Yes, I can't remember the viewing series off-hand, but it was a definite 'hit'. Hopefully Whitechapel II will be just as well-received.

I think it was a big success in Britain, but each series has only 3 episodes.

Thanks. I haven't seen Whitechapel so that sounds good. Is it a big series in the UK?

He will be appearing in Whitechapel series 2 at some point this year. It started filming in January. Did you see the first Whitechapel? It was a great mini-series (based around the story of Jack the Ripper) and very well-received in the UK. I am looking forward to Whitechapel 2.
