<p dir="auto">There is some incredible Piaf stuff on YouTube - despite the limitations of 1950s/early 1960s technology, you'll find yourself mesmerized by her compelling performances - you get an idea of how gigantic her voice was, and how tiny and fragile her body -<br />
except when she sang!<br />
She was in complete command of herself, of her music, and of her audience.<br />
