When you're looking at a list of threads on the general board, or any board, there's a column that says "Latest posting". You can click that, and it takes you to it.

Click on the time rather than the thread title and it will take you to the new post and any replies to it

Yeah, but it doesn't show up when the new reply is in another page.

Isn't there the red new post indicators on the right side of the screen? And if you open the thread via the latest posting link it takes you to the most recent post?
