I just watched the Craig Ferguson finale which used both Bob Newhart and parodied the end of "Newhart". It seems to me there was another parody of that last scene quite some time ago. A man wakes up in bed (not Newhart) and Suzanne Pleshette is in bed with him. Same comforter and lamps. Does anyone know what show it was?

So far, I found that "The Onion" wrote that the 18 billion year old universe ended when God woke up from a bad dream..
