Only saw the movie on TV once, many years ago. But she was involved in some love triangle. At the end of the movie the husband confronted her as she was listening to a tape recording of him. She tells him she has listened to it day and night. Husband takes a pistol and kills her then walks out to face the Police.
Very intense, moving scene with great acting by Suzanne. Anyone know which work this was?

It's not "A Rage To Live". The end of that movie takes place at a big party they are giving, there is no tape recorder and the husband doesn't kill her. They have a very public confrontation about her infidelity and he makes it clear he is leaving her. The final shot is of her, slumped over on a bridge, crying as her husband walks away.
Would love to know what movie the OP saw.

It sounds like A Rage To Live. It's in b&w and she's a sex addict. Hope this helps!

Sounds good and you've piqued my interest. Can you guess circa? Was it a theatrical release or made for tv? What did the husband look like?
