He's done a s***load of TV shows and always plays the exact same character in every single one. Tall, fat, ugly, and mentally challenged. That's how he always comes across to me. And I had the misfortune of hearing some of his "comedy act" a few years ago. Christ, this guy SUCKS at standup. I'd rather see/hear Patton Oswalt ANY day. And exactly how does Posehn continue to get work when he obviously suffers from severe appearance deficits? You know what I mean? I just don't get it.

You don't HAVE to b skinny and attractive to be an actor u just have to b skinny and attractive to play skinny and attractive CHARACTERS lol
there are roles specifically WRITTEN for fat, awkward, nerdy, unattractive guys and that's where people like Brian Posehn come into play
If u notice, Jim Gaffigan is ALSO fat, giant, nerdy looking, awkward and unattractive and he gets alotta roles that specifically call for that like the character he played on That 70's Show, Roy that was the EXACT look needed for his character if they had a thin, good looking, athletic, confident actor playing that role, he would have been totally miscast
same could b said for the characters Brian Posehn always plays
