<p dir="auto">Prince William, Prince of Wales, was the only Royal to kneel in allegiance to his Father.<br />
Following the official crowning of the new monarch, William kneeled down and said:<br />
"I, William, Prince of Wales, pledge my loyalty to you, and faith and truth I will bear unto you, as your liege man of life and limb. So help me God."<br />

That was a nice moment of tradition.<br />
Prince Philip's duty was to say those words to Queen Elizabeth in 1953.<br />
He kept his promise.<br />
Yes, a touching moment. <img src="https://filmglance.com/discuss/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/2665.png?v=8570fb93240" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--hearts" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title=":hearts:" alt="♥" /><br />
More than one person covertly needed a handkerchief.<br />
Yes, Prince Philip kept his promise.<br />
As Prince William will keep his promise.<br />
Wanted to know if Prince Philip kissed his Queen's cheek also back then.<br />
Yes, he did. <img src="https://filmglance.com/discuss/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f451.png?v=8570fb93240" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--crown" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title=":crown:" alt="👑" /> <img src="https://filmglance.com/discuss/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f48b.png?v=8570fb93240" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--kiss" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title="" alt="💋" /><br />
Yesterday, Prince William confirmed his pledge with those wonderful words (again).<br />
And he showed his love for his father and his love for all people who serve (again). <img src="https://filmglance.com/discuss/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f1ec-1f1e7.png?v=8570fb93240" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--flag-gb" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title=":flag-gb:" alt="🇬🇧" /></p>
