Does anyone know if Freddie Prinze Sr. was ever in a movie shown on TV in the 1970s about a steam room that was really a waiting room for people who had died and had not yet "moved on"? I have a vague recollection of seeing this moving when I was a child, but can't find any info on it.

I think this is the TV movie you want. I remember it being on my local PBS station. Mostly I remember the lovely Valerie Perrine nude scenes. I couldn't believe they showed as much nudity but PBS seemed to get away with it. Too bad I did not have a VCR at that time. Oh well, my loss. Hope this is the one you want though getting it on VHS or DVD may not be easily obtained. One last thing, I am not sure if Freddy was in the show. Maybe you thought Jos Prez who played the Attendant was him?
