<p dir="auto">I don't like Ratner very much. He's a major reason I avoid modern films with a few exceptions. From a pure filmmaking side of things his films are generally well made though lack any imagination and any Hollywood filmmaker could get the same results on the budget he has.<br />
However he's had success regardless of quality of the film. In many ways he is the ideal Hollywood filmmaker since most Hollywood films aim at a brain dead audience.</p>
