I don't think the credit is listed here, but he was on an episode of the short-lived MTV show Damage Control. The show involved the installation of cameras throughout my family's home, and MTV pranked my brother through a series of random events (parachuters on the lawn, the guys from American Choppers showed up in monster trucks and ruined our grass, etc). Devin played the part of a mechanic who smashes one of my "father's" new cars. He was great. After shooting was done, when we found out he was Buzz from Home Alone, my sister and I ran downstairs and asked him if there was any cheese pizza left. He was really funny and a great sport. I wonder if Devin checks these boards. If he does, the people from that random home in Westchester, New York say hi!

I "met" him at a Borders store in L.A about a year ago. I was over there visiting relatives who had just been married. Was walking around town, stopped into Borders to buy something to read and saw Devin browsing a Marvel graphic novel in the comics section. I stopped and stared for about a minute as I recognised him from his IMDB photo. I'm thinking "that's gotta be him, that's gotta be him". But couldn't pluck up the courage to say anything.
Eventually he turned around and spied me looking directly at him. His brow furrowed and he kind of looked vaguely unimpressed.
I quickly blurted out "Dude, do you act? I've seen you in..I'm sure you were in Home Alone, right?".
He looked uncomfortable and mumbled "Err.yeah. I guess".
"Ohawesome" I replied as pleasantly as possible.
I stood there for a minute in an awkward uncomfortable silence, not knowing what to do or say in a situation like this.
Eventually he looked up and looked me directly in the eye "UmI'm kinda busy here soif you don't mind."
What the hell? Was he asking me to take a hike? What gives? I wasn't going to stand for it.
"OK, so do you want me to exit the store or what? Is this the VIP section?? What gives".
Devin glared at me like I was some form of insect and his face went dark red. He turned his back in an apparent act of defiance.
I left. But before I did, I loudly proclaimed "See ya Devin!! It was sure nice meeting the wonderful kid actor from the Home Alone series!!!"
Heads turned and soon everyone was looking in our direction.
Devin looked as if he wanted the earth to swallow him up.
Then I went and got a burrito.
