I will remember him as Robin Colcort on Cheers, but I also remember him from Law & Order and Law & Order: Criminal Intent, in both of which he played murderers. And he was part of the wonderful group of Mechanicals in Midsummer Night's Dream, one of my favorite Shakespeare movies.

His recurring character on The West Wing was amazing. Quite aloof, his interaction with the West Wing staff, especially the President's Chief Of Staff was always a joy to watch.
