It seems I reflect the general sentiments from everyone here. I loved Thank You For Smoking, Juno and Up in the Air but really didn't like Young Adult, and apparently everything he has made since then was much, much worse. I don't wish to get further disappointed so I think I'll avoid his last two.
I mean what happened? He was one of my favori2000te directors and now

Reitman and his wife divorced..the party scene in Young Adult seemed to be where he could vent about his frustrated marriage. His alienation started from problems with his divorce, I think. She also helped write his earlier films that you liked. Also, he might have a Paramount contract to direct more films than he would like to.
