<p dir="auto">It seems I reflect the general sentiments from everyone here. I loved Thank You For Smoking, Juno and Up in the Air but really didn't like Young Adult, and apparently everything he has made since then was much, much worse. I don't wish to get further disappointed so I think I'll avoid his last two.<br />

<p dir="auto">Reitman and his wife divorced..the party scene in Young Adult seemed to be where he could vent about his frustrated marriage. His alienation started from problems with his divorce, I think. She also helped write his earlier films that you liked. Also, he might have a Paramount contract to direct more films than he would like to.</p>
