His claim to fame was Dukes of Hazzard what else has he really done since then ,to me he was just eye candy for giggling teenagers.
And the fact he's a born-again douchebag just lost my vote

On a certain level is the film industry his conservative political views coupled with conservative religious views, and family considerations limited his choices, and industry offers.
It is regrettable because like you I believe he had all the makings of a great star. He may still bloom, I am hoping so.

no not in my opinion
a star, yes, but not a big star. just virtue of being on tv doesn't mean one is a big star. there are many actors with series and tv films.
what i meant was he shoulda made it to the status of cruise or pitt or clooney i think he was that good, that worthy of that mega success
btw hello tally, i'm in aby

John Schneider isn't a big star?
He has starred on two successful televisio16d0n series, guest starred on many
others, made several well received made-for-television films, had at least two
hit songs, has a new (limited run?) television series in which he himself
stated "a role about as far away from Bo Duke as possible," and several new
projects in various stages of production.
John Schneider isn't a big star?
