I saw him in a not-very-good British film on TV last night (Things to do before you are 30) - actually, he was one of the better things about it which is why I kept watching!. The story revolves around a bunch of friends who are in a long term amateur football team. Towards the end of the film, he is warming up before an anniversary match and doing an interview with a local TV news team. He does a clever (to my football-ignoramus eyes!) extended piece of keeping the ball in the air with his foot. (I don't know the technical term, I'm a female football non fan but I have seen clips of David Beckham doing similar).
It looked quite impressive to me - was it trick photography in some way, or does he have a good amateur background?

Dougray actually wanted to be a professional footballer but says he wasn't good enough, however he would have had NO difficulty in doing this tri1354ck himself. He is, as it happens, a very keen football fan and has a season ticket for Hibs.

LOL you could learn to do that in just a few days of practise - he's a Hibs fan so he probably won't have a clue about football.
