""The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs, explosions and fallouts, there are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, prejudices, to be found only in the minds of men. For the record; prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy, and the thoughtless frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all of its own, for the children and the children yet unborn.""
Not only content to be a brilliant TV writer far ahead of his time (inspiring films like the Matrix,Dark City, shows like X-Files,Lost,Dr.Who), Rod was a genuine humanist and was far ahead of the rest of his generation on race-actually come to think of it still is- Tea Party retirees LOL. We could all learn a lesson from him during this dark period when our young college generation decided to celebrate an extrajudicial assassination of OBL(who was obviously evil man nonetheless). It never eases to amaze me who those cheering and dancing on the streets after the death don't see a part of themselves reflected in those Islamic people who celebreated the death of Americans.

Wow, it seems to me there are a lot of kooky liberals posting on this page. There was great relief when Bin Laden was killed. He was a murderer and a terrorist who deserved what he got. I did not get up and cheer, but I was relieved he was caught and put to death. It always bugged me how many anti war episodes that were thrown into the Twilight Zone stories. I am in no way a supporter of killing people, but there are times where you must go to war and defend what is right. Some people just cannot handle that fact and would rather lay down and be overthrown.

Indeed. I find it pretty disgusting that people are celebrating the death of a modern religious fanatic so cheerfully. It is quite odious and rather depressing. It seems to me that humans often celebrate an act of violence rather than an act of peace. Many great things happen without much fanfare or public celebrations in the street, then you have the celebration of Bin Laden's death and, though not violence, the Royal Wedding (which was at the expense of the poor and needy).
And it is sad that people tar all Muslims with the Wahhabi brush too. If Osama is to be seen as the epitome of all Muslims, then why not just see David Duke (Ku Klux Klan) or Wesley A. Swift (Church of Jesus ChristChristian) as the epitome of Christianity?
