<p dir="auto">IGSS was innovative and funny and was was from a more upbeat period of time, but I agree with the posts that what makes him so funny (the same thing that works for Howie Mandel and Steve Buscemi) is that no matter what he is doing (from Larry Sanders to even some uncomfy interviews)he wears his heart and emotions on his sleeve. I'll never forget an early David Letterman interview (maybe from the early 90's) where he asks a rarely perplexed Letterman, "But no matter how successful [a person is], it just doesn't make us happy. Did you ever notice that?" Letterman's expression alone was priceless - it was like someone blew his porch light out for a few seconds.<br />
