<p dir="auto">I vividly remember Mr. Shigeta in Paradise, Hawaiian Style, and Bridge to the Sun. "Paradise" was just fun and I was and still am a major Elvis fan, but Mr. Shigeta really impressed me in that film. What a "heart-throb!" and that's saying a lot when he played next to Elvis!! Then, in Bridge to the Sun, the part he played was so beautiful and moving. He is truly a versatile and accomplished actor (even though I also believe he is a "star," too). I'm excited to know that he is still working. Someday I would like someone to interview him, to know what he thought of Elvis and what he thought of Bridge to the Sun. They were two such divergent movies. Mr. Shigeta, you will always be one of my favorite "working actors."</p>
