I like her role on GH than on DAYS. Maxie is much more fun to watch than Belle was.

I loved Kirsten as Belle. When KS portrayed Belle on Days, she was my favourite character.
That said, Kirsten storms is phenomenal as Maxie Jones on General Hospital. I love GH so much more then Days and Maxie has become my 2nd favourite soap character of all time (behind GH's Sam McCall).
Maxie's sweet like Belle but she's much more edgey and bitchy. She gets to pull out lines that Belle would never say.

I don't think Martha is a bad actress, but I hated her as Belle too. To be fair though, I would have hated anyone as Belle.
Without Jirsten, there is no Shelle. Spixie will NEVER make sense. Keeping the faith in Brucas.

I hate to be negative here but speaking from my heart Martha Madison SUCKS as Belle Brady, always has always will, I 2000used to think i would get used to Martha like i get used to alot of replacement actors but I NEVER managed to get used to her. I Just don't like her acting skills and thinks she is really bad at pulling that role off. Unlike some other actors who manage to make an old role there own I Really DON'T think Martha has done that. And will always miss Kristen Storms because she just really WAS Belle Brady as she played it so well !!
even after MANY years I still think Days would be great with Kristen again and actually stopped watching days more or less after she left.

The "teen set" were teenagers for 3 years, Kirsten's last year or so on the show they were moved up to college which was a perfect time line. It would of been stupid to keep them at teenagers forever.
Kirsten has said before that she was a fan of GH.

but as always, Days producers mess everything up and they ruin the charactors but making them into adults in a year with 3 kids out of wetlock.

When she left Days of Our Lives in 2004, it was because CBS had cast her as Betsy in their new show "Clubhouse." Unfortunately, the show only lasted a handful of episodes, and DAYS had already recast the role of Belle.
She continued to pursue work outside of the daytime arena, but in 2005, opted to take on the role of Maxie on GH.
I remember there was controversy over her return to daytime. She had spent her teenage year238s on DAYS, and was such a fixture and loved by the cast and crew, that one of the higher-ups had asked that if she ever wanted to return to daytime, that she let them know as a courtesy. When she informed them that she was looking at daytime again, there was a huge story about how she wanted to come back as Belle - and take the role back from Martha Madison. Kirsten refuted those rumors, and both she and Martha spoke to the soap press about Kirsten's intentions.
