I am on a Donna Summer binge right now. Such a marvelous voice, such great talent, so beautiful. I grew up listening to her songs. Growing up her music was always upbeat, fast moving, and brought out the best in me.
The day she died, I felt like someone close to me died. I especially get misty eyed whenever last dance plays. The song now has a double meaning to me: It not only signifies the end of an era (It was played at the end of my Senior Prom), but it also signifies the end of a life as well.
RIP Donna Summer. Keep living on through the great music you gave us.
I'm so scared your little head will come off in my hands!
