Daniel is what he is. He knows and his family knows. You can never go on a name or the color of the skin. The only thing that should matter is that he is human. He is a brilliant actor and a wonderful person. Ethnicity shouldn't matter to anyone.

you know, there are people who look like daniel and both their parents are considered 'african american'. my cousin is an actress, she's african american and has blonde hair naturally, white people ask her if she is latino. i don't get she looks like an african american to me but then i realize we come in a wide variety regarding daniel, i remember being at a party and someone didn't know he was Black and all i could think was 'you couldn't get more African than Sunjata', if you k2000now anything about Western Africa its not an uncommon name. esp. as it's been explained in this thread with its various iterations.

People are good-looking whether they are bi-racial or not. Sounds like you're a little bitter there showgurls. I've been asked that same question thousands of times since I was a little girl and to this day, I don't mind it. It's better than people just assuming. At least they're curious. And for your information, I don't care what someone's skin color is (black, white, pink, green or neon blue), I was to know their ethnic background. I find it fascinating, as do lots of other people. So stop hating.
