Very Very Very few people are unable to gain/lose weight. Put a lineup of 1000 really obese people and 998 of them eat far too much and don't exercise. There's maybe 1 or 2 that can't lose weight no matter what. And I do, in fact,238 know a person like this.
I'll never know what it's like to have the problems of a fat person because I don't particularly like food and almost never get cravings. I eat when I have to and that's it.

Anyone got a total on what weight he's down to now? I'm guessing under 220, probably closer to 200. This looks to be about the healthy place for him to even out and maintain the weight though, too skinny is just as unhealthy. The guy looks amazing!

//"There is no good reason for a person to be overweight like that."//
Shows what you know. There are pl5b4enty of people who are extremely overweight due to the way their bodies work, just like there are people who are built like DJ Qualls, but since he's skinny, instead of fat, you're willing to overlook that. Up through high school, I was DJ Qualls skinny. In fact, I wasn't over 120 lbs until I was about 25 years old, and took another 10 years to get to 140. Now I finally weigh around 150, and still look a little on the skinny side at 5' 9", but ot as bad as I was. No matter what I ate, no matter how much I tried to gain weight, it never happened. It can happen for overweight people, too, it's not always because they sit on the couch eating ice cream and picking their noses 24/7. It's funny how people blame those who are overweight for the problem, but not those who are underweight, skiny is good, even when it's Olsen Twin skinny, I guess.
Maybe you should think before spewing your opinion, there ARE plenty of people who are overweight because they are lazy, but there are also those who have to be vigilant every waking hour, and some that can never really keep it off. Look at Oprah and Kirstie Allie for example, they obviously have an issue because no sooner do they lose 80 lbs, then it starts creeping right back up on them.
As for Ethan Suplee, maybe you should leave him OFF your list, since he is one of the people who CAN and HAS lost weight and kept it off. A movie that came out 10 years ago isn't the best barome5b4ter. He is currently on Wilfred, and I bet he weighs 220 or less at this point.

There is also no good reason for everyone out there to make fat people feel worse about themselves. For every fat person that gets motivated to lose weight by negative words, five more don't get motivated and it only gets worse.

I just saw him in Evolution. If he continued on like that he would stand a good chance of being dead now. Him, John Goodman and Drew Carey should be poster children for American obesity. There is no good reason for a person to be overweight like that.

He also went on a water and vegetable diet. Men lose weight particularly fast on a no sugar, water diet. I'm talking loss of inches within a week. They don't have the issues women have because womens retention level is higher, men do however grow visceral fat more-so than women and that's very difficult for men to lose without diet and exercise.

I agree that Ethan Supplee looks great now. But resent the whole "take control of his weighthealthyblah, blah blah.
First of all, I would bet money that he's lost a good amount of that weight through liposuction. So, no will power or exercise or "control" involved.
Secondly, by looking at him, I got the impression that his overweight is most likely due to a pituitary/thyroid condition. Very possibly, this man ate less than you did most of his life.
The ignorance where fat is involved is of epic proportions and as someone who's been viewed as a "glutton" despite having eaten very little (less than600- 1000 calories a day for the first 30 years of my life
