I just watched an ep of my nam is earl and it's the first time i've remembered to look up his name. Can't believe he wasn't bulk.

You are right, I looked up a picture and the guy looked nothing like him, except for being about the same size. That is pretty wierd that so many people thought that.

For some reason I thought he was in The Power Rangers show too! Weird how so many people thought the same thing. Now I have to find a picture of that character.

It definately wasnt him, they dont even look similar. the only similarity was their size.

Same here. My whole world practically came crashing down when I found out Bulk wasn't played by Ethan. I mean I must've watched almost every episode of MMPR when i was little and I distinctly remember Ethan as Bulk. This has to be a conspiracy lol.

You know, what, I always thought it was him too and I saw Mallrats around the same time that i used to watch the original Power rangers when i was a kid and I swear i remember him playing Bulk. So after this post I went in search of the look of the original bulk and I tell you what, he doesnt look familiar at all. Skull looks exactly as i remember him but Bulk just looks like an average fat guy. I need to find the old show and watch it because this is blowing my whole childhood apart. i seriously do not recognise the real Bulk and only remeber Ethan Suplee. Weird

I am still kicking myself for having watched that mind rot even if I was a kid then. Funny story, the character's real name was Farkas Bulkmeyer. Nine years later, I had a government teacher named Dr. Farkas and I immediately think of that character and just crack up in the middle of class.

Haha! I couldn't agree with you more. Power Rangers is probably the only show I feel ashamed for loving as a kid. The Power Ranger craze was no different than Pokemon fever.
