After watching "Drive," I was surprised to see Russ Tamblyn's name in the credits as "Doc." I don't remember spotting him, and I don't recall a character named "Doc." Where exactly did he appear in the movie? Was it one of those cases where the part gets cut from the movie, but remains in the credits?

Here's where: Right after Driver gets shot in the upper arm (after the carnage at the motel) he goes somewhere (I'm not sure where) and Doc removes the bullet fragments. I had to go back to find him.(He's wearing black-rimmed glasses.) His role is very brief, and he just mumbles something.
