<p dir="auto">He was pushing mens underwear in the mid to late 1970s.I believe it was for Fruit of the Loom.His likeness even appeared in store displays well into the early <a href="http://1980s.At" rel="nofollow ugc">1980s.At</a> the time I had no idea who this guy was pushing underwear.</p>

<p dir="auto">It must have been one of the worst casting decisions in all of marketing history.Whatever Terry Thomas had in common with American underwear is quite the mystery.Ford even had him in a commercial for the 1980 LTD comparing its quiet against a Rolls Royce (Ford did that in 1965 for the Galaxie/LTD,and again for the 1975 Granada).That one I could see.He could play the part of stuffy Brit.But what a stuffy Brit was doing promoting drawers,is beyond me.</p>
