I'm wondering how accurate this info is. It's possible fertility was a factor, and maybe she was told surgical treatment and other alternatives would be curative. I can't imagine truly forgoing chemo and/or radiation if the cancer was fatal without such treatments because, yeah, the fertility issue would be moot. Plus, if fertility is really a priority, freezing eggs is an option.
So I just don't think that trivia bit is the whole story. I can even imagine a scenario where it's too advanced, treatments are minimal, so one may say,238 "if my chances with all treatments aren't much better, I'll forgo ones that cause sterility, and if I can even survive this, I can have kids."
The trivia simplifies to the point of death-wish territory which is in contradiction of planning a future with kids, so I do not think it's the whole story.

The type of cancer Michelle Thomas had was predominetly found in men. Kind of like a man being diagnosed with breast cancer. I know it says she refused treatment. It should've said she refused traditional methods and opted for some sort of alternative treatment that sadly failed.

It really depends on what stage cancer she hadi mean if she had stage 4 cancer its really no point in getting treatment but if its anything less than stage 4,it would be wise to get treatment but its all in the past and she made her choice and if its an afterlife she's happier and cancer-free

I don't think doing all of that was on her mind. She probably wanted it done the natural way.

Perhaps she didn't want to live with the prospect of not being able to conceive a child of her own. As the previous poster said; it was her choice, may she rest in peace.
