At first when i saw Myra on Family Matters [which is my favorite show] i was worried that Myra would be a bad character for the show. And i admitt i didn't like her on the show for the first couple of episodes. But i suddenly loved having her on the show. I wasn't old enough when the show was airing so now i watch abc family reruns of this show.
In the last season i just absolutly loved Myra. And when she wasn't in the show as much it fit. I just found out she died. I found out three hours agao and i was in total shock. I saw the very last episode and now i respect her soooooooooooooo much. I always have admired her work but now knowing she had cancer while diong the show i have so much more respect. I think she is one of the strongest, happiest, purkeiest people i have ever known. She was so happy and i just loved seeing her smile. She was so strong that she filmed the show even with cancer! If it was me i wouldn't have that strongness to stick with it and never give up.
I always thought she was such a realistic when she acted. It just seemed like every single time you saw her that she wasn't acting at all. Like she was just a person that was being videotaped or something. She was amazing. Rest In Peace Michelle Thomas.
Now that i know this i will never want to give up. She is a true role model. I always wanted to meet her and when i found out about this i was crushed. My dream is to one day meet the cast of Family Matters. I just don't think that you can ever forget that smiling face of hers. She brought so much light and joy into peoples lives that she should never be forgotten. Never. I think there should be a national holiday for her. Because she brought in more light and hope and joy into my life that she will never be forgotten. She will always be remembered. Forever.

I was reading a biography on her, and they said she found out she had cancer in august of 1997. But that she refused treatment because she wanted to have to children. Thats brave , but bringing a child into the world just to leave them would have been so sad. I still cant believe she is dead.
You can hate all you want. But you cant break the girl who thinks nothing of you
