Is that Tim playing cowboy Bob "B.B." Boberson on Late Night with David Letterman?
Dave has been having a series of recurring segments called 'True Tales from the Old West' with America's foremost Old West storyteller, Bob 'B.B.' Boberson.
I haven't seen Tim on anything in years, but the cowboy looks and sounds like an older, grizzled Tim Thomerson. Bob "B.B." Boberson seems to be a play on Tim's name and nickname T.T.
Since Tim was a once standup comic, he might have known Dave from comedy circuit.

That was for sure Thomerson. I spoke to him about it actually and I know he was over in NYC to shoot it. I would love to see it as I didnt know till afterwards. If there is a video online please post it. I heard it was really good.
