kenan is FUNNY snl however ISNT funny

at first i didn't mind him..but he really isn't funny. of course i used to be a big fan of all that and the nick shows but it just doesn't seem like SNL is the place for Kenan. i def agree that the roles he play are very similar and he doesn't do anything differentits just his costumes. plus all his punchlines have some emphasis to him being black which gets repetitive and now they're just not funny. i think if he left SNL wouldn't lose anything and maybe people won't even notice.

But most skits now just aren't funny. They're mostly repetitive, damn near identical callbacks to earlier skits.

My whole problem with Kenan is that first SNL is supposed to be a show for up and comming comedians/actorsKenan has been around for a while making movies and doing shows. What's the deal with that? Secondly, he is not funny. Granted the writing needs to improve on SNL but he doesn't help them out at all.

I don't think SNL is funny period
I never watched it during the 90's but I'm guessing it was a lot better than it is now. Seems like the same thing that happened with All That.

He's funny, but not funny enough for SNL. At first, I liked him being on SNL because I always liked him. Now that he's a "regular", I don't think he's funny. I don't think I have ever laughed at him on SNL. He makes skits

VERY TRUE!!! And I also agree that they really could have used a duo like Kennan and Kel to build the show up again. Sort of like how popular the show was when Wayne's World was on it. Many people watched it just for Wayne's World with Mike Meyer's and Dana Carvey.

I thought years ago that Kenan and Kel would be on SNL, yet for some reason Kel isn't. Kind of seems like NBC only bought half the act and in this case the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.
