Why isn't this man a bigger star? He's got a great voice, ain't hard to look at and can act better than many of the overpaid actors we have to see over and over again.

He's an amazing actor. Maybe he has bad agents, or makes bad business decisions, like Scarecrow Slayer. Somehow he manages to teeter between mainstream and underground productions. Not quite sure how he does it on a consistent basis.

FREAKING awesome. OMG, if he was in a Tarantino I'd actually go see that. Like pay money and everything. He's such a wonderful actor, he has incredible presence on screen. It's crazy that he isn't super well-known.

He loves B movies, and uses a lot of actors from B movies Tony would be great in a Tarantino role.. His characters are larger than life, and Tony kinda fits the bill..

Too true, there are far too many underrated actors out there. But at least he gives constant good quality work and is in many projects to boot.
Osama bin Laden, my fear is that while America is ass deep in troubles in Iraq and pretty much pissing over what it stood for that Muthafracker is going to die of old age.
Seriously, that is wrong.

He is stuck in the Vincent Price category.
What he needs is one good movie with Meg Ryan.

He is stuck in the Vincent Price category. Vincent Price was a great actor, and was much better than a lot of the work that he was offered, but unfortunately it seems that once you get stuck in a horror cliche, then thats it. He was great in Platoon, but then he went on to do Night of the Living Dead and Candyman. He is great in both of these movies, but now hes type cast. I love horror movies, so I like that he does them, but I know that he would be great in a dramatic part that Samuel L. Jackson or Laurence Fishburne might get.

Don't forget Platoon.
The problem with Tony is that he's been typecast because of Candyman. I know his wife, and she's always telling me about his struggles. Everyone wants him to play a villan of some sort, and all he really wants to do is stretch his acting wings. I guess it just goes to show that it really is tough to "break it" in the movie biz.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

He kind of reminds me of how Lance Henriksen is. Henriksen has starred in a lot of garbage yet he can also say that on his resume he worked with Al Pacino in "Dog Day Afternoon". Tony Todd has worked in some classic movies like with Sean Penn and Robert Duvall in "Color" (he had a tiny part) and he also worked with Christopher Reeve in a western shortly before Reeve became paralyzed. Todd also played a Klingon on "Star Trek: The Next Generation".
Both of these actors have been in small parts in major classics but their leading b68roles come to them only in horror movies and low-budget thrillers. The only mainstream leading role Henriksen has had was as Frank Black in "Millenium", the tv series.

Yeah its a sad truth, Paris Hilton probably got more money from House of Wax than Tony Todd will ever make in his life. He is a great, great actor, one of my favorites
