The signs on the buildings (at least some of them) used to have that name. Also, on Wikipedia, it says, "Five Guys Enterprises, LLC (doing business as Five Guys Burgers and Fries and Five Guys)" on Wikipedia.
It also shows this as the logo:

I went to Five Guys today (I guess it's not called Five Guys Burgers & Fries anymore?).
Don't believe they ever were? It's always been 5 Guys to me and I've been to California twice and looked forward to stopping at one to try their burgers.
