I love that she chose a short wig for her Criminal Minds role. I like it because it's so authentic for the character, Dr. Tara Lewis. She's a working woman in a serious job. Dr. Lewis needs to be ready and able to go wherever at a moment's notice. She doesn't have the time for wigs or weaves or a straightening regimen, and based on her character's personality, I don't think she'd have the patience or interest either. Dr. Lewis is a practical, sensible, woman with a purpose in life; she isn't vain or frivolous. Chic yet practical. That's Tara Lewis.
Excellent choice for credible practicality over unbelievable Hollywood glam, Ms. Tyler!
Nature, Mr. Allnut, is what we are put in this world to rise above.
