I knew James Michael Tyler in high school. We attended T.L. Hanna, Anderson, S.C together from 1976 - 1980. This is the same school highlighted in the movie "Radio" starring Ed Harris and Cuba Gooding, jr.
Back then he went by Mike. I remember that he was a good guy - a little on the quiet side with a great sense of humor.
For years while watching friends, I'd look at the Gunther character and try and figure out why he looked so familiar. It was only near the end of the series that I finally figured out that Gunther was Mike with platinum hair and now goes by James.
Oh well, I am glad that Mike has done well and wish him continued success.

That had to have been really cool to watch and wonder how you knew him and then have that moment of, "Oh my gosh, I know him from high school!" What areb68 the chances?!
