I've read somewhere that Cruise won't make any more Jack Reacher movies. I actually liked him in the role though I'm sure Karl would've done a good job, as well.

After watching Jack Reacher, it's hard to imagine as someone that's not Tom Cruise. Cruise bought the rights to adapt the books anyway, so until it expires any future movie will star Cruise.

I think he'd make a good Joe Pike. However, that's meaningless since Robert Crais has said he won't sell the rights to the Elvis Cole, and, I presume, Joe Pike books.

Oh, ok, that really doesn't sound like Tom Cruise. In the meantime, however, he's already filming the second Jack Reacher film.

If had read any of the REACHER books, you'd immediately see that Tom Cruise was totally wrong for the role. Reacher is 6'4" .. muscular .. rugged face Cruise looks like a total weakling at 5'4" ..

Hmm, that would be a hard one for me. I like Karl in everything but I liked Cruise as Jack Reacher. I haven't read the books so I don't know how close he was to the original character.
