You sounded like a tomcat having a vasectomy without any anaethetic, so our lukewarm response to your wailing was perfectly justified. Los Angeles is the perfect place for you, the home of the shallow. Yes you may have a pretty face, but if we peel that back and see what's underneath we probably won't find anything but a little note saying: Please Insert One Brain. Hope you enjoy yourself over there, send us a postcard if you must but whatever you do DON'T COME BACK.
In fact, though I doubt this will happen due to her lacking anything resembling acting ability, I hope she does hit the big time over in Tinsel Town so the Aussies and the Brits can finally be rid of this jumped-up harpie for good. So come on Academy, give her an Oscar and give us all a break!

Holly somehow really invokes strong feelings in people doesn't she?
Okay, let's clarify.
I've met Holly twice. She was kind, polite, very generous with her time and was nothing short of gracious. Her personality is lovely, at least she was with me.
She experienced varying degrees of success with music. Debut single in at Number 1 and the remainder of singles performing not too shabbily. It was the second album that flopped and I blame that on her label doing absolutely ZERO promotion on it.
She CAN act. Okay, something like DOA maybe wasn't the best vehicle for her big break into Hollywood but it's a fun little romp that benefitted greatly from Holly's performance. She nailed the fighting choreography, no easy task!
Lastly, I have no idea why film success is evading her. These things take time. I wish her all the very best!

Regarding her music, I think she is good, she sounds ok, gives a sexy performance every time, and these days all the big stars are shaking their money-making-machines, many of them depend on sound engineering & mixing and playback wonders. I think if a good label produced a new album, it would be a hit.
As for her acting, she is hell better than many other actresses, she was mega hot in Prison Break, and again I see these days its mostly about being hot.
As for her personality, well that is none of mine or your business. Being a star does not mean to be a saint/angel/perfectionist etc. I am not going to marry the woman.
As a viewer I enjoy watching Holly sing, dance and act, which is all that matters!
