<p dir="auto">She wasn't in PURPLE RAIN, that was Apollonia.  The role was meant for Denise but she left Prince's camp before filming began for a lucrative Motown deal.</p>

<p dir="auto">I knew her from that and Action Jackson and Purple Rain, of course. Also from an episode of HIghlander that got edited into a D2VHS movie. Sad that she died after turning her life around.<br />
