Every time there's a scene that involves Penelope and Desmond, I just feel happy for no reason. They're the definite couple on LOST No other couple on the show can be compared to them in any way.
Her facial expression when she's talking to Desmond (Brother) is priceless; she looks as if she's genuinely in love with him - not acting as if she's in love with him.
I could go on and on, but the one thing I'm sure of, is that she deserves an Emmy for her performance as Penelope Widmore brother.

maybe better chemistry, but it has nothing to do with her acting..

I agree. There's real chemistry between her and Cusick, while I don't believe the relationship portrayed by her and Joseph Fiennes in Flash Forward at all. It's a real puzzle - no chemistry between actors? Hamstrung by playing American characters, and therefore having to focus on accent rather than character connection? Walger's scenes when she was finally reunited with Desmond in Season 4 were brilliant and utterly believable, but in Flash Forward she seems a bit disconnected, like she's just 'showing up'. Script? Accent struggles? Chemistry?
