Just watched Heaven Can Wait again
I remember watching this movie as a kid, and it was one of the first times I realized what "acting" was all about.
The scene where Farnsworth is trying to convince Max that he's really Joe is just AMAZING to watch. So well timed, choreographed. It's like a dance.
I couldn't do that.
I couldn't do that in 100 takes.
Doubt, suspicion, surprise, introspection, anger, frustration, jubilation, sorrow, just about ever emotion you can imagine, he covers it in this film, and nails it.
Superb actor.
