I always knew Warden as the funny old guy from
Problem Child
and
Dirty Work
. I just happened to watch
12 Angry Men
and knew I'd recognized the face of #7. Then I saw the credits and just about leapt out of my seat.
Was he in any other great movies like that?

Don't forget 'And Justice For All' opposite Al Pacino from 1979. It is a magnificent film and Jack Warden plays the judge. It is a must see if you're a fan of his work.
That aside, I have to say 'The Verdict' (1982) is my personal favorite. I don't think Paul Newman ever delivered a better performance and Jack is just as powerful fighting at his side. An exceptional film by director Sidney Lumet the late great. All of them.

Check him out in ESCAPE FROM ZAHRA16d0IN (1962), which was just released on DVD.

Try Donavan's Reef. It also starred John Wayne and Lee Marvin amongst others. Good funny movie, if now starting to get a little dated.

Being There and 12 Angry Men are among the best movies I have seen!

I loved Warden ever since I saw him in the tv-show "Crazy Like a Fox" as a kid, and among the many movies I've seen him in I would highly recommend the following:

The Presidio (the movie isn't a masterpiece but Warden has an important role opposite Sean Connery)

The Verdict

Used Cars (brilliantly funny in two different characters)

The Champ

Death on the Nile

Heaven Can Wait (Oscar nominated)

All the President's Men (big supporting role in one of the fines political dramas ever made)

Shampoo (Oscar nominated)

From Here to Eternity (small but nice part in a classic)

Run Silent, Run Deep (cool submarine drama, where he is playing opposite none other than Clark Gable!)
And of course 12 Angry Men, but you already mentioned that
And this is just for starters!
