Her guest-appearance on "Cagney & Lacey", as Maggie, in the episode "Burn Out" was somewhat a key part - very beautifully played - as Lacey suffers a nervous break-down and runs away from both her work and family. She ends up at the beach one windy day, sitting there all alone and Jennifer Warren turns up. At first Lacey can't stand her because she wants to be alone, but by the end of the day she has helped Lacey back on track in a touching and wonderfully done example of those small one-time-meetings we all have, that we somehow carry with us for the rest of our lives.

This is really the only "Cagney and Lacey" episode I remember. Jennifer did a splendid job with the part.

I concur. That was a memorable episode with the Tyne Daly character giving Ms. Warren's role some sh in the beginning. That was truly an episode that stood out among the others for me.
