As the talk show host Ruth Corley, she was hysterical. While Bob was excited to get a little national exposure by going on her show, she ended up playing a ruthless interrogator, really laying into Bob about psychology, how there is "no guarantee" for patients, etc. She was nice to him during commercials, and became a barricuda when the camera was on.
Still very memorable episode after all these years.
