Like a lot of "honors" in the entertainment business, it takes an initiative by agents and or publicists or producers to become eligible for the People Magazine Sexiest Man Alive. People Magazine doesn't just scour for people to choose, although they may proposition the extremely popular. Usually those chosen just happen to have works coming out around that time. It is another publicity tool that is mutually beneficial to the career and to the magazine.

Besides being so hot and a good actor he seems like a really nice, sweet, down to earth person, how could you not love him?:) Would so love to meet him but i'm sure if i ever did i'd probably faint dead away or not be able to think of a word to say and look like a complete fool! lol

Totally agree! I can't believe he hadn't done more movies amd gotten bigger roles. He is not only great looking bit he is a good actor. He was really good in Parkland. I am bummed that he is only on the screen for a few minutes in Draft Day. He will attract more viewers to the movie than most of the other actors in the cast, but his fans will be disappointed with how small his role is. He should play a bad guy because he showed his acting skills when he was playing a baddie on Smallville. JMHO
