Last night she was on LAW&ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT - she looked familiar to me but I couldn't remember her name until I saw the credits. Then I realized that the lead actress is Julianne Nicholson who plays a character called "Wheeler" - coincidence, no?
Also - Dana seems similar to Cathy Moriarty - they should play sisters!

She is the granddaughter of Major Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson, who started DC Comics (home of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman). Unfortunately the Major was financially squeezed out of the company, so the family has no connection with DC Comics today.

I saw that ep. last nightI had similar thoughts when I saw t1c84he name! I was like, "Dana Wheeler-Nicholson???" Isn't "Wheeler" played by a "Nicholson"??? Quite the coincidence!

I was thinking that, but I dont see how it could be anything but coincidence. Even if Dana Wheeler-Nicholson is Julianne Nicholsons sister-in-law or something like that, it doesnt really make sense that the producers of the show would have said to Julianne Nicholson, when she was originally cast, lets name the character after your sister-in-law,
