I recall Paula Wilcox being upset in the 1980s about a sketch that aired on TBHS in the 1970s, the "Little Miss Fox" sketch.
Here's a link to info on the sketch:
http://bennyhillshotelsplendide.yuku.com/reply/975/t/Can-you-identify-this-episode-blow-up-doll-under-sofa.html
On this webpage, it says she refused to allow the episode to be air2000ed in England:
http://www.tv.com/the-benny-hill-show/show-12/episode/324395/summary.html
It doesn't seem particularly sexist or degrading to me. It seems more indictaive of the desperate state of single men than a commentary on women.
Does anyone know PRECISELY why she was upset about the sketch?
Whatever you wish for me, I hope you have twice as much.

I just bought Benny Hill 1972 dvd with this sketch on it. I saw this as a 10 year old and howled. Its the first time ive seen it since, It's brilliant. Dont know what she's bitching about, Maybe it;'s her neurotic ubbalanced character in the sketch
