tbh i feel bad for Michael Trevino that the Tyler character has been given little to do since late in season 5 or early 6. after Tyler failed to kill Klaus the writers ran out of ideas for him. Liv and Tyler were ok as a couple but needed more od a build up

I didn't feel bad for either of them, just annoyed for 2 reasons First being that Matt came back. I was honestly hoping they'd forget to write him in. Second annoying thing was that they brought Tyler back expecting his death to be some shocking unforgivable act, and failed miserably. Why exactly should anyone miss a guy who's been a minor recurring character most of the time and has been gone for a season and a half? They killed him off as soon as he hit the screen, like they do with random people Damon eats. It makes zero sense this would be some tragic death that "no one" will forgive Damon.
