What it means is exactly what I saidhe said that he and Foxx had chemistry that he could find with no one else. If he had an adversarial relationship with Redd Foxx, I am sure he would not have used those words.
Besides that, I expressed my opinion. Opinions are just like ________________, everyone has one. You have yours, I have mine, and I have just as much right to express it here as you do. So keep your attitude to yourself, Thunderdonkeywhich, by the way, is an appropriate name for you.

Since nobody knows or believes what Demond says except him, GOD and Mr. Foxx, who is now deceased, it should be left at that. Besides there is nothing anybody can do about it, anyway.

I really hate to tell you this womenofbocc but that means what exactly? Absolutely nothing that's what and I don't mean to come off as rude to you. Forget the O'Reilly Factor, and think about it for minute. For the record I could have starred with Redd Foxx and hated the man and then years later, like a couple of decades which basically it is, get interviewed and have the nicest things to say.
After all when a lot of time passes you tend to get more courteous in your reactions and attitudes regarding past negative situations. But yes I do believe that they weren't very fond of each other when they were doing the show. Heck Wilson didn't go to Foxx's funeral with the excuse of "other commitments" and I guess it's not my place to second guess what the man said but it does make you wonder if you do know the stories of the discord between Foxx and Wilson. Don't forget in 1974 Foxx walked off the show and split for a year, and Demond was left holding the bag in a show that was mainly built to be centered around Redd Foxx. That sure wouldn't have endeared me to the man and I LOVED Redd Foxx as a kid when I watched Sanford and Son and even I'll admit that to you.
Before you say, "Well he wouldn't have said all these nice things, etc" try to think things through. Enough time makes pretty much everyone mellow out some. Peace.

He did an interview on The O'Reilly Factor on Fox. (January 30, 2009) You can pull it up on www.Foxnews.com under videos. He looks great. I noticed that Wikipedia says that he and Foxx were not friends off the set. In the interview, he tells it quite differently. He says that he had chemistry with Redd Foxx like he could never find with anyone else. He had lots of good thi16d0ngs to say about Foxx; things that you would only say about someone for whom you had respect.
Mr. Wilson, if you read these kinds of posts, please know that you still have a fan base! It would be great to see you back on television
